LegisAlta
A legal-intelligence platform built around the structure, authority and reasoning of law.
LegisAlta is the central project behind my work in Legal AI. It is designed to support professional legal research, document analysis, drafting and knowledge management while keeping sources, citations and legal authority visible.
A structured approach to legal knowledge
The underlying model connects legal authorities, passages, issues, propositions, rules, holdings and concepts. The objective is not simply to retrieve similar text, but to preserve relationships that matter to legal reasoning: what supports a proposition, what limits it, what distinguishes it, and which authority gives it weight.
One brand, open and commercial paths
The intended model keeps LegisAlta as a single brand, with an open foundation that can contribute to the broader legal-technology ecosystem and commercial capabilities aimed at professional practice.
Research through building
LegisAlta also acts as a practical research environment for questions I write about publicly: trustworthy Legal AI, provenance, professional responsibility, access to law, institutional capacity and the design of AI systems for high-authority domains.
